The exhibition, "I Spend Each Day Embracing Flowers," features vivid new paintings, massive new sculptures and a dazzling new infinity room from the mega-popular Japanese artist. Ladder to Heaven, a work Kusama designed this year, is made up of steel, LED lights, mirrored glass and something called honeycomb aluminum, and the overall effect is dazzling. MTA Arts & Design announced that Kusama and artist figurative artist Kiki Smith have been commissioned to create floor-to-ceiling mosaics at the new Grand Central Madison Terminal.
